Fettuccine Gummi ~Japanese Snack meets Italian Pasta~

Japanese companies adopt many foreign foods and recreate something unique, new, and weird. One of the successful examples is Japanese Curry that people can find in Japan and the big west cities. The mild-flavoured sweet curry, distinctive from the Indian authentics, is popular for adults and kids.
This time, it seems like Japanese companies tried to recreate the Italian’s soul into delicious sweet candy.

What is fettuccine gummy?

Fettuccine is a Japanese gummy created by BOURBON in 2010. Its shape and texture are inspired by the Italian pasta – “Fettuccine”. Their flat and thick shape creates wonderful harmony with juicy flavours. Furthermore, the secret of this Japanese gummy is the coated shiny powder which gives you an extra sour punch to your sensation.

Fettuccine CM

Fettuccine is the nostalgic Japanese gummy I used to eat a lot back in my teenage. At the time, the massively popular Play Station Portal’s game soft “Monster Hunter” was what my friends and I spent most of our time on. It was like a ritual to bring snacks to one of our friend’s houses to play the game. Of course, the fettuccine was always the choice.
It’s the good snacking memory I miss sometimes.

Of course, we can enjoy the Japanese sweet candy even now with Nintendo Switch over playing with our online friends now!
